About the Trek

Nag Tibba Trek is one of the most popular short Himalayan treks in Uttarakhand, offering a perfect combination of adventure, scenic mountain landscapes, peaceful forests, and breathtaking Himalayan views. On a clear day, trekkers can enjoy spectacular views of Himalayan peaks including Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and the Doon Valley.

Follow the Trek Leader's Instructions

Always follow the instructions of your trek leader and support team regarding route, pace, rest stops and safety.

Be Cautious on Snow & Ice

During winter or snowfall, trails can become slippery. Use proper trekking shoes and trekking poles and walk carefully.

Carry Essential Medications

Carry your personal medicines and basic first-aid supplies. Inform the trek leader about any important medical requirements before starting the trek.

Stay Hydrated & Eat Well

Drink water regularly and consume sufficient meals and energy-rich snacks throughout the trek.

Be Mindful of AMS

Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) can occur at high altitude. Watch for symptoms such as headache, nausea, dizziness, unusual tiredness or breathlessness. Inform the trek leader immediately if you feel unwell.

Pack Smart & Travel Light

Carry only essential items. An unnecessarily heavy backpack can make the trek significantly more difficult.

Respect the Environment

Do not litter. Avoid disturbing wildlife and vegetation, and follow Leave No Trace principles wherever possible.

Emergency Preparedness

Keep your identification, emergency contacts, essential medicines and important documents easily accessible. Follow the trek team's instructions in case of an emergency.
