About the Trek

Dayara Bugyal Trek is one of the most beautiful and rewarding Himalayan treks in Uttarakhand, known for its vast alpine meadows, dense oak and rhododendron forests, peaceful campsites, and spectacular views of the Garhwal Himalayas. Located at an altitude of approximately 3,600 metres (11,800 ft), Dayara Bugyal offers a perfect combination of scenic landscapes, adventure, and Himalayan tranquility.

The trek takes you through charming mountain villages, lush forests, open meadows, and high-altitude trails, with magnificent views of Himalayan peaks including Bandarpoonch, Draupadi Ka Danda, Srikanth, and Jaonti on clear days.

The trail is suitable for beginners as well as experienced trekkers with reasonable fitness. During winter, the meadows transform into a beautiful snow-covered landscape, making Dayara Bugyal a popular destination for snow trekking.

With its breathtaking views, peaceful surroundings, and relatively moderate difficulty, Dayara Bugyal is an ideal choice for travellers looking to experience the beauty of the Himalayas without undertaking an extremely demanding high-altitude trek.
