Tour Plan

Your Chardham pilgrimage begins early morning from Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun. After completing the required boarding formalities, take off towards Kharsali, the gateway to Yamunotri.

07:00 AM – Dehradun to Kharsali

Depart from Sahastradhara Helipad for Kharsali. The helicopter journey takes approximately 30 minutes, offering beautiful aerial views of the Himalayan landscape.

08:00 AM – Kharsali to Yamunotri

On arrival at Kharsali, begin your journey towards Yamunotri Dham, approximately 6 km away. Depending on availability and your preference, you may travel by pony, palki, dandi, or other locally arranged assistance.

After reaching Yamunotri Temple, take time for darshan and prayers before returning to Kharsali.

The complete Yamunotri visit may take approximately 5–6 hours, depending on the movement of pilgrims, weather, and local operating conditions.

01:00 PM – Kharsali to Harsil

Return to Kharsali Helipad and board the helicopter for Harsil. The flight takes approximately 30 minutes.

02:00 PM – Arrival at Harsil

Upon arrival at Harsil, you will be transferred by road towards Gangotri Temple. The temple is approximately 24–25 km from Harsil and the drive generally takes around 45–60 minutes.

03:00 PM – Gangotri Dham Darshan

Arrive at the sacred Gangotri Temple, situated beside the holy River Ganga. Spend time offering prayers and experiencing the peaceful spiritual atmosphere of this revered Himalayan shrine.

After darshan, return to Harsil by road.

Evening – Overnight Stay in Harsil

Check into your hotel or cottage in Harsil and relax after the day's pilgrimage.

Rise early and prepare for the second and final day of your Chardham helicopter journey. The morning departure will be planned according to the crew's instructions, weather conditions, and operational clearance.

07:00 AM – Harsil to Kedarnath

After an early breakfast, depart from Harsil for Kedarnath by helicopter.

08:00 AM – Arrival at Kedarnath

Arrive at Kedarnath and proceed towards the sacred Kedarnath Temple with assistance from the ground team. Depending on the applicable arrangements, passengers will be provided with darshan assistance or priority darshan arrangements.

Spend time at the temple seeking blessings of Lord Shiva before returning to the helipad.

10:00 AM – Kedarnath to Badrinath

After completing the Kedarnath visit, depart for Badrinath by helicopter. The flight time is approximately 30 minutes, subject to operational conditions.

12:00 PM – Arrival at Badrinath

Arrive at Badrinath and proceed towards the revered Badrinath Temple for darshan. Assistance with priority darshan/Puja Pass arrangements will be provided as applicable to the selected package and temple administration guidelines.

Afternoon – Return to Dehradun

After completing your darshan, return to the helipad and board your helicopter for the journey back to Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun.

Helicopter travel in the Himalayas is strongly influenced by weather, visibility, wind conditions, air traffic, helipad availability, government permissions, and aircraft availability.

For passenger safety, the operating team and pilot may delay, reschedule, reroute, or cancel flights when conditions are unsuitable.

The itinerary and timings provided above are therefore indicative and subject to operational and weather conditions. The final schedule will normally be communicated before departure.

Possible Overnight Location Change

The planned overnight stay is generally at Harsil. However, depending on weather, operational clearance, or other aviation requirements, the overnight stay may be shifted to Kharsali.

Passengers should be aware of this possibility before confirming the tour.

If an additional night becomes necessary because of weather, technical issues, or operational delays, the additional accommodation and food expenses will be borne by the passengers unless specifically agreed otherwise.

The operator will make reasonable efforts to assist passengers and facilitate completion of the pilgrimage. However, additional extensions beyond the agreed itinerary are not included in the package cost.

In circumstances where continued operations are not possible, the operator may need to cancel or modify the journey based on safety and operational considerations.

Reservations & Payment

A 100% advance payment of the total tour cost is required to confirm the reservation unless another payment arrangement has been agreed upon in writing.

The reservation becomes confirmed once the required payment has been received and acknowledged.
