The tour starts and ends in New Delhi, with pickup and drop at the airport or railway station.

It's a moderate trek of about 3.5 km each way on a well-marked stone trail. Since you'll also drive to Joshimath the same day, an early start is essential.

No. The temple usually closes from around November to April/May. The trek is still possible in winter, but snow can make the trail difficult.

The Joshimath–Auli ropeway has been closed for several years. You'll travel to Auli by cab and use the Auli chairlift to reach the upper slopes.

Joshimath has more hotel options and is just 15 km from Auli, making it a convenient base for a full day of Auli sightseeing.

March to June and September to November are ideal. December to February brings snow and skiing in Auli, but roads to Chopta can be affected. The monsoon (July–August) can cause landslides.

Yes. You can add the Chandrashila summit with an extra night in Chopta, stay in Auli instead of Joshimath, or start from Dehradun or Haridwar.
